WINDS OF CHANGE AT PARK GATE

How many guest houses are run by two chefs? One of them even catered for the Queen Mother! Home cooking, quality and service come as standard at the non-smoking Four Winds Guest House in Park Gate, only a few miles from the major cities of Southampton and Portsmouth.

Chris Rose combines guest house duties with his role as head chef at Banana Wharf in Southampton’s Ocean Village. Chris helped to launch the Dock Gate 4 bar and grill in the city. He’s also cooked at several other top restaurants, and on the Canberra. Chris will be happy to tell you about his royal appointments! Ruth has also worked as a chef at a local country pub. Her previous role as an air hostess gave her an insight into specialised customer care.

Four Winds is family-run and offers spacious en-suite rooms at competitive prices. Chris and Ruth aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You have your own key to come and go as you please, night or day.

The guest house could hardly be better situated for tourists. Attractions such as Nelson's flagship Victory and the spectacular Hamble Valley are all within easy reach. Sailors can take advantage of high class local marinas.

Visitors who need to mix work with pleasure are never far away from the South's main business parks, including the large development at Whiteley.

You'll find Four Winds just off junction 9 of the M27. We guarantee a homely Hampshire welcome.
