Four Winds Guest House is located in Station Road, Park Gate, on the outskirts of Southampton. The nearest railway station is Swanwick. The station is within easy walking distance of the guest house. Trains arrive from Southampton, Winchester, Fareham and Portsmouth.

The nearest airport is Southampton International, around 15 minutes by car.
Situated just off junction 9 of the M27, the guest house has easy motorway access to both Portsmouth and Southampton.

Park Gate 'village' has many facilities including a Bakers (with cafe), 4 Banks with ATM's (Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds and Nat west), Barber's shop, Butchers, Chemist, Co-operative Convenience store (open 7am - 10pm), Church, Dry cleaners and Service Wash, Florist, gift Shop, Greengrocers, Hairdresser, Ladies Dress Shop, Nail Bar/Beauty Salon and two Off Licences.

There are also two pubs - The Talisman and The Village Inn and two Restaurants - Kams Palace Chinese and Park Gate Tandoori. Park gate also has two 24 hour Petrol stations.
